Block of the Month

Our first ever Block of the Month Quilt is "Courtyard" by Kaye England for Wilmington Prints. The Fabric collection is called "Indigo Garden", and it features beautiful grays and blues. The center medallion is surrounded by a series of pieced borders, whose complexity in appearance belies the simplicity of construction. We judge this to be an advanced beginner level project, and with the steps broken up into bits each month over the 10 months, you will have fun seeing your project grow to the finished 87 x 87 inch queen size quilt.  

The fabric was scheduled t arrive in stores in January, for a February start, but the delays at the ports are affecting the quilt fabric companies also, and we have been told it just left the US warehouse the other day! We will notify each person who signed up in a matter of days when it is ready. If you wish to get in on the fun, we do have a couple openings at this moment. The signup fee is $49, with an additional charge of $20 for 10 months. You may pick up each month's kit, or you may make arrangements for shipping.
